This page contains stories of living with or caring for a person with epilepsy and is updated continuously.

Bigger and better. Stories depict a journey and these journeys of lived experience have a positive effect on others, be it personโ€™s with epilepsy, careers and the world at large.

Why stories

A story stimulates the brain, and can change the way we act in our lives. Stories motivate, they make us more empathic and influence social behavior. Epilepsy is a condition that is misunderstood and we believe it is through these stories we will be able to better the lives of persons with epilepsy and eventually defeat epilepsy, the challenges and social issues that come along with it. It is through our stories we are able to show how far we are able to go with epilepsy, be it with education, employment, marriage etc

Debunk the myths surrounding epilepsy today. Motivate someone with epilepsy, a career, remind them that life is full of possibilities, most of all that we have epilepsy but epilepsy does not have us!
