The 5th Annual Conference of the Epilepsy Alliance Africa (EAA) will take place on 17โ18 September 2025 during Zebra Epilepsy Stripes Week. The conference will feature a keynote address by Prof. Dr. Arif Herekar from Pakistan.
Prof. Herekar is an expert neurologist with 37 years of experience. He is Chairman and Head of Neurosciences at Baqai Medical University, Pakistan, and currently practices at Hilal-e-Ahmar Medical Hospital in Karachi. He is widely recognised for his expertise in clinical neurology, epilepsy care, research, and education.
At the EAA Conference, Prof. Herekar will share insights from his extensive experience, contributing to discussions on epilepsy advocacy, innovation, and impact. His participation highlights the importance of global collaboration in advancing epilepsy care and policy.
